Adult Protective Services Going After 93 Year Old Widow
You must read up and watch this poor woman’s battle with Adult Protective Services. Apparently they have declared she is not “competent”; forcefully removed her to a nursing home, appointed a 79 year old guardian with access to her bank account, stock account and home…claiming they need to sell them in order to “cover” her expenses at the nursing home and subsequent doctor’s care. There’s more to the story to watch, read and weep that this type of nonsense is happening to our seniors. As you will see from the videos, this brave woman has all her mental faculties….and because her family/friends are filing charges, they (protective services) has a put out restraining orders against those trying to help her. Is this what you want for America? Is this what you want for your ‘golden years? This needs to go viral….send everyone you know about this story. Why isn’t this in the local papers or any papers? This poor woman is scared to death, and wonders, how can this happen to her???

Roche’s Tamiflu Not Proven to Cut Flu Complications

The effectiveness of Roche Holding AG’s Tamiflu in treating flu complications in healthy adults can’t be determined because the Swiss drugmaker wouldn’t supply data from eight studies, an independent research group said.
The exclusion led the Cochrane Collaboration to reverse its previous finding that the pill warded off pneumonia and other deadly conditions linked to influenza. Tamiflu has been the mainstay of treatment for swine flu, which has killed almost 9,000 people since April, according to the World Health Organization. Roche said the drug is effective.
An analysis of 20 studies showed that Tamiflu, which is expected to generate 2.7 billion francs ($2.64 billion) in sales this year, eased and shortened symptoms if taken quickly. It found no clear evidence that the drug prevented lower respiratory tract infections or complications of influenza, according to the nonprofit research group in a review published in the British Medical Journal.

IPCC’S DAMAGE CONTROL
As the evidence continues to mount against top Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) scientists at the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) located at England’s University of East Anglia from emails a hacker obtained proving man-made global warming is a fabricated concept, the IPCC issued a statement to contain the damage. The statement is a definite indication the IPCC is feeling the pressure from the world community over the scandal.
The statement’s first paragraph calls the emails “stolen” and “condemns the illegal act which led to private emails being posted on the internet” and the IPCC “stands by the findings” of the researchers “whose professional standards and careful scientific work . . . provided the basis for these conclusions.” The standards mentioned are obviously not the same standards used by most of the scientific community. Also, if the information revealed in these emails supported their data, they would be applauding the disclosure.
The statement also claims their assessment process considers all relevant scientific information from journals with “robust peer review processes, or from other sources which have undergone robust and independent peer review.” Additionally, “Every layer in the process plays a role in keeping IPCC assessments comprehensive, unbiased, open to the identification of new relevant literature.” Not so. The emails obtained proved there was a deliberate attempt to exclude or discredit any peers or peer reviews that disagreed with the IPCC findings. The statement simply perpetuates more false claims and lies. To admit otherwise would be to admit there is no evidence for man-made global warming. It was signed by Prof. Thomas Stocker and Prof. Qin Dahe both co-chairs of the Working Group I which contributed to the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report.

Every arm of the United Nations is designed to bring the world into a one world government through treaties. The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is working steadfastly and stealthily under the auspices of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCROC) to this end creating a worldwide youth movement reminiscent of the Hitler youth. The UNCROC has been ratified by more countries than any other treaty. It makes the child the equal of the parents thus taking away all parental rights. Parental rights are passed to the United Nations. If governments are not moving fast enough, raise up a generation indoctrinated in the UN theology and the ball will not only move to the finish line, it will be carried over the finish line.
The ball is now the new climate change treaty known as the Copenhagen Protocol meant to replace the Kyoto Protocol due to expire in 2012. UNICEF got the ball rolling a week before the actual Conference of the Parties (COP 15) begins by holding the Children’s Climate Forum. From November 30-December 5th, 164 young Climate Ambassadors — children ages 14-17 from 44 countries — were brought to Copenhagen to discuss or in actuality, be told, what their rights are related to climate change and how they must commit to change. They were told if they are forced to live in an environmentally compromised planet, they won’t be able to enjoy their lives fully, since threats to their health and wellbeing will increase.
At the end of the week, the Climate Ambassadors had prepared a “Children’s Forum Declaration” which was presented in a special Friday night ceremony to the President of COP 15, Ms. Connie Hedegaard. The Declaration states “We commit to personal lifestyle changes that place the common good above our individual desires and current way of life;” “We commit to engage and actively cooperate with . . . governments in combating climate change;” and finally, “We are prepared to give all we have as long as there is the possibility of saving our planet.” The last sentence, directed at the government leaders of the conference states, “We expect the same courage from you.”

I attended the special ceremony Friday night, December 4, 2009. The celebration was held in Copenhagen’s majestic City Hall and the large hall was filled with young people, some looking as young 10 yrs. old. Posters were exhibited all around the room expressing the supposed problems climate change has caused in each country represented.
I spoke with a 16-year-old young man from Florida in the U.S. named Pulkit Agrawal. Pulkit explained to me he was worried South Florida would soon be under water if the glaciers continue to melt. He was one of four young people chosen out of 75 from the U.S. to be a Climate Ambassador. He first attended a Junior 8 Summit held in conjunction with the G8 Summit last July in Italy. At the J8 Summit young people discussed their rights as related to the global financial crisis, again ending with a Declaration to be presented to the leaders of the G8 Summit. Pulkit along with the others from the U.S. met with Obama in Italy.
In order to be considered for the Climate Forum, Pulkit submitted four essays explaining what he was doing to combat climate change. He attends the North Miami Senior High School in Florida where he has started a UNICEF club. It is easy to understand why these young people have an automatic allegiance to an organization that flies them all over the world not only to meet with world leaders but to demand their rights from these leaders. Talk about building an unrealistic image of one’s own importance.
The celebration ended with a Danish rock group singing “It’s My World” written by a Danish composer especially for the forum. Some of the verses of the song are:

The backdrop on the stage was a large tree made of construction paper. The Climate Ambassadors were asked to make a one-year commitment to take action against climate change. Each ambassador wrote their commitment on a paper leaf which was then pasted on the tree.
UNICEF is an evil organization intent on controlling the hearts and minds of our children.

COP15: A Neo-colonial Climate Regime Revealed

New developments at the UN’s International Summit on Climate Change have threatened to further side track a meaningful Treaty next week in Copenhagen.
Known as the Danish Text Leak , a story that broken yesterday by the UK’s Guardian Newspaper, it details a secret agreement that effectively disbands the Kyoto protocol’s original plan to have so called ‘developed’ nations like the US and Europe foot the bill for global emissions reductions, as well contravening the UN’s own traditional mission to provide a “balance of obligations”. In surreal fashion, this secretive group calling themselves “the circle of commitment” and whose members are said to include high ranking individuals from countries including the US, UK and Denmark, compiled a secret draft plan which hands control of “climate change finance” to none other than the World Bank.
Currently in Copenhagen for the Summit and to chair the Climate Sense meeting, Mark Rucker, Executive Director of CFACT explains, “It’s a shame it had to be leaked but it’s not that surprising. The UN and IPCC have been doing things behind closed doors. This goes to show that a double standard has existed for some time, with one that is clearly biased against developing countries.” Rucker adds, “Developing countries genuinely need to develop their energy resources for their people.”
The Danish Text leak also points to another reality across the Atlantic. Many suspect that this draft document was a last ditch work-around to pacify long time opponents of Kyoto in the US, in hopes to ram through a Cap and Trade Bill through the House and Senate in 2010. Opponents of the US Cap and Trade legislation have always had two major objections to it; 1) Handing over money to the UN. This problem is effectively neutralised by giving the World Bank power over all things financial. 2) US critics of Kyoto have always contended that it was too soft on Developing World nations, leaving the First World to bare the load for emissions reductions. Their secret agreement would not allow poor countries to emit more than 1.44 tonnes of carbon per person by 2050, but would allow rich countries to emit 2.67 tonnes per person.
The text leak represents the latest desperate politically and economically motivated move and will likely signal the death knell of this long anticipated Copenhagen Summit.

Critics of Global Warming Alarmism and government Cap and Trade schemes will also seize upon Danish Text Leak revelations as further proof that the real driving force behind the climate change movement are not environmental activists, but transnational corporations and a cartel of international banks. A recent article in Bloomberg details how banks like JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs have already placed themselves to ride the carbon bubble by selling their newest and most exotic financial instrument yet- the Carbon Derivative. Conservative estimates put the U.S. cap-and-trade market at anything from $300 billion to $2 trillion, and the carbon derivative market in the hundreds of trillions by 2020. In the Bloomberg piece, George Soros, who already has positioned interests in carbon exchange industry, openly admits that Wall Street money managers will seek to manipulate cap-and-trade markets. “The system can be gamed,” says Soros during a talk at a London School of Economics seminar in July. “That’s why financial types like me like it- because there are financial opportunities.”
Bad science followed by bad policy
It’s no surprise to people who have been following Climate Gate and the IPCC’s attempt to whitewash the serious incident during its opening statement on Monday, that bad science can only be followed by bad policies. With power broking and deal making left up to a relatively small group of officials and counties at the UN’s Summit, few who have followed their exploits are at all surprised that COP15 has come to be known for its massive failure in addressing the fundamental issues surrounding the climate change debate. Across town from the UN’s main venue at Copenhagen’s Bella Centre, another(somewhat more sober) meeting was taking place. Jens Robdrup, a Danish journalist helped to organise the Climate Sense conference held in conjunction with US-based CFACT . He explains why it is a priority to bring together some of the leading skeptic voices in climate science and economics during the Copenhagen Summit, “Personal freedom is being threatened by what world leaders are attempting here and there is little or no coverage in the mainstream press about opposing views. If the truth is suppressed and there is no debate then there is no democracy.”

You can read all the unit’s hacked e-mails, which were posted Nov. 29 on a Russian server at HarryReidMe.com. These e-mails have since been verified by The New York Times. Amazing!
Yet the energy cap-and-trade bill is still sitting around in Congress. This bill that could cost us more than $100 trillion. It’s astonishing how we have bypassed “billions” and went right into “trillions” with hardly a blink. In a few years, it will be “zillions” of dollars and we’ll wonder how we got there.

Google CEO: Secrets Are for Filthy People

Eric Schmidt suggests you alter your scandalous behavior before you complain about his company invading your privacy. That’s what the Google CEO told Maria Bartiromo during CNBC’s big Google special last night, an extraordinary pronouncement for such a secretive guy.
The generous explanation for Schmidt’s statement is that he’s revolutionized his thinking since 2005, when he blacklisted CNET for publishing info about him gleaned from Google searches, including salary, neighborhood, hobbies and political donations. In that case, the married CEO must not mind all the coverage of his various reputed girlfriends; it’s odd he doesn’t clarify what’s going on with the widely-rumored extramarital dalliances, though.
Schmidt’s philosophy is clear with Bartiromo in the clip below: “If you have something that you don’t want anyone to know, maybe you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place.” The philosophy that secrets are useful mainly to indecent people is awfully convenient for Schmidt as the CEO of a company whose value proposition revolves around info-hoarding. Convenient, that is, as long as people are smart enough not to apply the “secrets suck” philosophy to their Google passwords , credit card numbers and various other secrets they need to put money in Google’s pockets.
It’s enough to make one pine for the more innocent Google bursting forth in the c. 1999 group picture at the top of this post, also gleaned from CNBC’s special. The hair might have been sillier — dig co-founder Sergey Brin and VP Marissa Mayers’ cuts, top center — but no one was yet audacious enough to argue against the very idea of a secret.

Oklahoma to Establish Electronic Insurance Verification System

State officials are looking at beefing up the state’s electronic insurance verification system by setting up cameras across the state to randomly record vehicle tags.
Cameras set up at about 200 locations along selected highways would focus in on a tag’s bar code — found at the bottom of each tag — and record it. Bar code scanners would match the tag numbers with a national database containing real-time vehicle insurance information.
Vehicle owners without valid insurance would be mailed a ticket.
“That’s a horrible idea,” said Rep. Mike Reynolds, R-Oklahoma City. “It’s Big Brother at its finest.”

Paul, the 74-year-old House libertarian from Texas with the high-pitched voice, has fought for decades to kill off the Federal Reserve.
Bernanke, the mild-mannered ex-Princeton professor and chairman of the bank, is waging a high-stakes battle for the Fed’s reputation. And he’s doing everything possible to knock out Paul.
The fight is still in the early rounds. But with the full House expected to vote this week to give government auditors more power to scrutinize the Fed, Paul has the upper hand.
The Senate is a much more difficult round for Paul, though a similar stew of liberal and conservative support is starting to simmer in the upper chamber behind the Republican’s wonky auditing measure.

UK Group Proposes Using Carbon Offsets to Stop Poor From Breeding

The Optimum Population Trust (OPT), a UK-based “think tank” and registered charity, has launched a new initiative urging wealthy members of the developed world to participate in carbon offsets that fund programs for curbing the population of developing nations. The scheme is being promoted as a more cost-effective way to reduce CO2 emissions than investing in alternative energy sources and offers a way for elitist racists to feel ethical in their quest to exterminate the third world masses.
A BBC News article on the proposal dutifully reports the OPT’s proposal and their justifications for proposing it. They note that the program is designed to fund “contraception” programs in poor nations, a term that helpfully obscures the fact that such programs—including those run by FPA, one of the agencies listed as a supporting organization of this new program—have used bribes to get poor men and women to volunteer for sterilization. The article does, however, allow space for a detractor of the proposal to point out that even if one does accept that limiting carbon emissions is necessary (which it is not), the focus on limiting emissions of people in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) is in itself nonsensical: “Carbon emissions from people in much of sub-Saharan Africa are so low that they can barely be counted.”
What this error exposes, however, is not that the OPT has set its sights on the wrong target. In fact, they are simply introducing the idea as a politically expedient precedent which will eventually be expanded to include the developed world as well. Indeed, this is merely the latest such proposal from the group, which has previously said that the world’s population must be cut by as much as half and the UK’s population reduced to as little as 17 million in order to reach “sustainable levels.” The group’s patrons include world renowned environmental campaigners, academics and media figures like Jane Goodall, James Lovelock and Sir David Attenborough.

One patron of the Optimum Population Trust who stands out is Jonathon Porritt, a well-known baronet and a green campaigner who advises the likes of Prince Charles on environmental matters. He has long argued the link between “environmental sustainability” and enforced abortions. He once claimed to be “unapologetic about asking people to connect up their own responsibility for their total environmental footprint and how they decide to procreate and how many children they think are appropriate.” He is also on the board of BBC Wildlife magazine, perhaps explaining why BBC News tends to treat every pronouncement from the OPT as if it were a major policy announcement (see this and this and this for starters).
Another prominent OPT patron is Paul Ehrlich, George W. Bush’s chief science advisor and co-author (with his wife, Anne, and Obama’s science advisor, John P. Holdren) of Ecoscience, a 1977 textbook that outlined in painstaking detail the various measures that the governments of the world could take to confront the “problem” of population, from forced abortions and one-child policies to mass sterilization of the populace through the contamination of the water supply. One representative passage reads:
“The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control. The capsule could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births.”
With such patrons in its ranks, it is hardly surprising that the group would endose a plan to sterilize the poor in the name of reducing carbon emissions. Of course, the green rhetoric of “sustainability” and “carbon reduction” is only the latest garb for a very old ideology, eugenics, a 19th century junk science which concluded that the human race consisted of genetically “superior” and “inferior” breeds. Unsurprisingly, this long-since discredited hucksterism, invented by an inbred group of British gentlemen scientists concluded that inbred British gentlemen scientists were the master race and everyone else was expendable.
When the Jewish holocaust exposed the eugenics cult for the genocidal ideology that it is, the once-thriving eugenics societies had to go underground. Some did this by merely changing their name: the British Eugenics Society became the Galton Institute in 1989, for example. Others changed their focus. The American Eugenics Society morphed into the Population Council, a group formed by John D. Rockefeller III, and refocused its attention on the problem of overpopulation and sustainability. Under the cloak of “scientific” research into the discredited Matlhusian bunkum of overpopulation. In latter years, this merged quite nicely with the now discredited junk science of “manmade global warming” to provide a perfect front for the eugenicists.
If any further evidence were needed that the green rhetoric of carbon offsets were merely another front for the rabidly racist ideology of eugenics, perhaps the clearest indication can be found on the Galton Institute home page. Here, the group that once openly called itself a eugencis society brags that one of its main functions is to serve as a funding vehicle for Marie Stopes International, an organization whose founder was a rabid racist who advocated sterilization of non-whites and the poor.
And the eugenicist’s agenda rolls on…
